[Ansteorra-archery] Period-ness, when is a bow not period due to the string?

Much like you didn't cut your own arrow shafts or cast your own tips, using a modern string is more for safety than anything. There are period strings that could be used. But just like we used a 2 part epoxy to glue down the wood, horn, or bone reinforcement for the shafts, we'll use a modern method for the string to ensure a safer shoot on the range
