[Ansteorra-archery] Grand Assembly of Missiles (renamed Subject)

Brothers and Sisters of the Missile Community,

I must apologize for my focused vision on Archery. Yes there are other
members of our missile community that are in
a similar boat as we archers. And we should band together and cross
train as much as possible for the good of the Kingdom!

I am in favor of planning a multi-program event that will have
archery, thrown weapons, and siege engines presented. Many of us
are interested in some or all of the divisions of missile technology.
The broader the presentment, the broader the audience,
and the more fun to be had.

If you are wanting to put your opinion in, be at the Wiesenfeuer
Baronial Event this weekend and attend the discussion!

Ld. Francois de Lions
Keeper of the Royal Rounds,
Kingdom of Ansteorra

Throw in some Thrown Weapons competitions and Siege demos or even a competition if they are enough engines there. A siege range is no longer than an archery range if you are not using a backstop.

And not many people would travel 3-5 hours just for Royal Rounds. But if we ran another Grand Assembly of Archers, we could have an entire event focused on Archery. For archers, by archers. I've been talking to HL Gunnar, and HL Vincenti about getting this going again. I believe we can work through the hiccups from the past involving this event and if your interested contact me off list and ill fill you in on what I have so far
