</div>From an ongoing discussion on Facebook, please respond here if you have not already responded on the Ask the Arc d'Or facebook poll:

We have had some good discussion of allowing the use of modern plastic nocks in the period style rules. There have been good arguments both pro and con. However, I would like more input on this. If you are on a kingdom or local archery group, could you post to it and ask for opinions, either yes or no on the below part of the rules regarding modern nocks. Also have them indicate if they currently shoot with a period style bow. Please allow three days for the voting and then close the poll and post the results here. Please make it clear that this is in addition to the use of period style self and insert nocks.

In addition to the use of period style self and insert nocks, do you approve the following wording in the period division:
“Modern plastic black, white or brown nocks may be used if they have the appearance of or have been modified to resemble a period style nock. Any indexing ridge shall be filed flat.”
No (shoots period style bow)
Yes (shoots period style bow)
No ( does not shoot period style bow)
Yes (does not shoot period style bow)

Thank you,
Kaitlyn McKenna
