class=560551911-04042001>1). Middleford has it's archery
practices on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays plus other days as scheduled.
They do it at the archery Range at the Rod and Gun Club on Main Post on Fort
Hood. Darcy and I, not in conjunction with Middleford, hold periodic
shoots out at Camp Finlyason on West Fort Hood. The terrain of the two
ranges is *totally* different. Here's my question, which I didn't think of
till just now, can we count the Camp Finlayson shoots as away shoots? They
aren't being sponsored by the local group and the ground is different.
However, there isn't much *travel* involved. Your call either way, just
wondering.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

Royal Rounds<BR><BR></DIV></FONT>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>First of all let me say things are finally
heating up. Now that Gulf Wars is done and over with for another year
there is time to shoot. It seems that now everybody wants to now how
they are doing the day they submit scores. Some people seem to feel that
the Royal Round averages should be updated whenever scores have been
submitted. To answer that comment I will say this, if I have enough
bloody scores then I will update the list. For general information to
everybody on this list the Royal Round list will be updated at least
quarterly, or sooner if enough scores come in to warrant it. Eadric and
myself have spent more hours trying to get this set up and working than I feel
like counting and half the time all I hear is b****ing. Now if anyone
thinks they can do a better job running this please let us know and you can
have it, if not then do me and a bunch of other people a favor and shut
up. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Now that I have got that off my chest, If
anyone still has scores to submit this week please do so by Friday. I
will update the database this weekend. Gilli or Robert please resubmit the
last set of scores through ansteorran web site, they did not come
through. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Just so everybody is on the same track here I
will restate some things from earlier posting this year</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>1. This is a new year, a new database, a
new start. All the scores from last year are sitting on a disk in my
files. Starting this year all scores submitted WILL carryover to the
next year. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>2. All scores must be submitted within 30
days through the Ansteorran web site unless you are having a problem with your
server, computer or do not have a computer. If this is the case
please e-mail with the problem as soon as possible and I will help you any way
I can.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>3. To achieve a average you must have at
least one shoot that is done at an event or practice that is not sponsored by
your local group. All scores must be submitted by the marshal in charge
of that event or practice. If you have questions about whether or not
those scores have been submitted contact that marshal first and then myself if
your are having problems getting a answer.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>4. Finally, once again the Royal Round
scores will be updated quarterly or sooner if enough scores have been
submitted.</FONT></DIV>
