You are correct. Yellow has been prohibited SCA wide on combat
arrows/bolts for about two years. Yellow is reserved for siege weapons
ammo which MUST have yellow.<br>

The reason behind this is that when a fighter got hit by a large golf
tube or siloflex projectile if they didn't see who shot it then they
didn't know how to call it. Shields don't stop siege ammo, etc.<br>
<br>
So, siege ammo has got to be marked with yellow.<br>
<br>
There are no other colors prohibited on combat archery ammo.<br>
