someone other than Middleford would have won the competition. We have
pretty much all the equipment we need. So we're buying some more 3D
targets.</DIV>

kingdom we have bowyers, crossbowsmiths, fletchers, people who sew, people who

think that is honorable and wonderful, but the end goal is to get people to
shoot and get good and beat the top archers in this land. The idea is to build
archers to replace the ones that drift away or simply retire.</DIV>

Lets face it. If a new archer is actually interested in shooting and sticking
with it they will end up getting there own gear within month of shooting the
first time funds permitting. If you have people known to make the loaner gear
in the first place you gave the new archer a resource to goto to get thier own
gear and help a crafter out. End goal feeding your own, growing them and
contributing as a whole. </DIV>

size=3>Personally - i have a range at my home in denton and would be
MORE then happy to open it up to those that want to shoot, we can get
out to 70 yards and the range is SCA legal. Lots of shade,
bathrooms, drink and relaxing only 20 steps away from the shooting line.
But the having to do it on home turf spoils that. </FONT></FONT></DIV>
