That's right folks. Remember, marking your range and safety zone
perimeters is not optional. It is mandatory per the SCA rules. The
methods and dimensions can vary but you gotta mark the perimeter of
your range and the safety zones beyond your targets.<br>
<br>
For a range with a:<br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>30' firing line (enough for about 6 archers)</li>
<li>Typical rage supporting Royal Rounds or IKAC with targets at 20,
30, and 40 yards from the firing line.</li>
<li>Safety zone marked out to 80 yards from the firing line. That is
40 yards from the farthest target.</li>
</ul>
Assuming you proceed at a 45 degree angle from your firing line back to
the distance of your first target, your range perimeter will look
something like this, and it will take you about 280 yards of rope (or
perhaps more) so ya better buy two of those rolls at Harbor Freight
unless you already have plenty of rope.<br>
