I am with Karl. I think is is somewhat disrespectful to wear a
badge worn by special forces officers, and intended for special forces officers,
unless you have been a special forces officer.

To me its kinda like if
you went around wearing a White Bracer on your arm and you weren't a member of
the Order. I would be annoyed at someone who did that.

Or better
yet, if you decided to wear a Red Bracer, a Red Belt, and a Red
Scarf. Those items aren't "official" or protected by our kingdom
law. We simply customarily use them to mean something that is very special
to those that wear them. We honor those people who very carefully consider
who they will give those customary insignia to by keeping to those customs and
traditions and allowing them to remain special. Why not honor those who
have served our country in the special forces
similarly?

Regards,

-EA

Chuck Kaun wrote:

I am not sure how picky they are, but when I was active, if you wanted some of
the special stuff, you had to prove you deserved it. Unless you know any
officers in the special forces, most Joe's wont be able to buy it in a
PX.

And to tell the truth, why not find an artist
who can make stuff like that? Its kinda disrespectful to have those
things if you havent earned them.

Karl T.
