The longest bow I own is a 20 pound wood bow (first bow I ever made) and young people use it all the time at our archery practice in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Austin</st1:place></st1:City>. The best way to pick a bow for a youth is to have them draw it to the length they are now. If they are comfortable with it more than likely the bow will grow along with them. Honestly I am surprised how small some of the children are that can use a light weight adult bow. If you are willing to consider a wood longbow give Sarah at Kees longbows a call at 512 573 5761.
