I ran one earlier this year but
didn't have much participation. Most of my archers are new and I'm having trouble convincing them that it doesn't matter what their skill level is, they should try it. A lot of them see it as a form of competition, and they lack the confidence for competing. I've been working to instill in them that it doesn't matter what skill level they are currently at, what matters is that they have fun. I've always tried to teach my archers that Royal Rounds and IKAC's are to help them track their progress in archery, not to separate them from other archers. The tassel is just evidence of an archer. I've also offered to anyone of my archers that completes 3 RR scores (one of which has to be an away score) then I will personally make their tassel.
