Most non-archery marshals don't wear a full-out black and yellow tabbard. However, they do generally carry a striped staff which allows people to visually identify them as marshals (it also helps keeps fighters within the boundaries). Since archery marshals generally don't require a shepherd's hook, a visual indicator --the sash-- will be sufficient to expand the "I'm a marshal" precedent. Too, few people wear striped sashes. <div>I would like to have an easier way for archers to figure out who is a
marshal on archery ranges. For one thing it will help them find people who
can inspect their equipment. My idea is a sash striped yellow and black
like a marshal staff. There can be something different to mark the marshal
in charge and any marshals in training.</div>
<div>At smaller events it is not as big an issue, but I have observed a
bit of confusion and chaos at larger ranges.</div>
