<div class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">I could not agree more. If becoming a peer is your primary goal than you would be better off in something other than archery. If archery is your passion than live for your passion and make that your primary goal to get as many interested in archery as you can. For events that offer archery, make it the best thing at the event with more people participating than any other event. Offer open range time, offer loaner gear (if you do not have any ask a nearby barony to help) offer instruction to children and adults. It will be impossible to ignore us if we have large turn outs at our archery. Even if we are only given an hour for a tournament we like to keep the range running most of the day for people who are looking for something to do other than watch others. If people come to your practices make sure you point them to other things in the SCA they can do as well (I hate being accused of recruiting archers
only).</div>
