I thought it was high because I keep comparing the price to Kee's longbows which are also hand made (well with power tools but each by hand). For my arrow shelf I have leather wrapped on the riser, all of our loaner bows have one on each side for people who are left handed. Very true about the poundage it is high and unless you have worked your way up to it you do not really get the advantage of a stronger bow.
