Sorry for the delay!!

I was elected as head of the guild by a unanimous vote of those present.
Baroness Claire had some comments to the bylaws and charter that I will
polish up and send to this list for review.

That done, let's start compiling a database and contact list of membership.

iv) Membership shall be open to any SCA members who are interested in Middle
Eastern dance in the SCA time period. One becomes a member by sending one's
SCA and mundane name, address and/or e-mail address to the Guild Head
expressing interest; or by giving that same information (in writing) to the
Guild Head at an assembled meeting of the AMED guild.

Those interested should send me an email or give me the information in
writing. Additionally, I'd like to know what SCA group you are with and
whether you have any special dance interests or particular styles you
pursue. I'd also like to know if there is a local dance practice where you
are, and if so, when it meets.

Over the years, I've been approached by various groups requesting our dance
guild to come visit them and teach for a day. I'd like to pursue arranging
for bigger dancer groups to travel to places without a teacher, and perhaps
arrange meet-and-greets throughout the kingdom. So, let me know if you'd
like dancers to come visit you and teach, and let me know if you are willing
to travel to teach.

Upcoming in the summer, June 17-19, we have the Ansteorran Kingdom Dance
Symposium in Westgate (Houston, Texas). I'm the coordinator for the Middle
Eastern Dance classes for that event, so please contact me if you would like
to teach. I'd like to see some particular styles taught in addition to the
beginning, Intermediate, Advanced classes. For example, I'm teaching a class
in Tunisian dance.

Pardon the run-on sentences!!

Kind Regards,

Clara von Ulm
