Merhaba!

My apologies to those who get this several times,
but I am trying to case my net fairly widely. I am returning to the SCA
after a hiatus of about 10 years and am working on a ME persona, probably
early Egyptian (Fatimid) and have a question on a name I am considering using
"zafira". I believe it is documentable, it is in one of the articles
linked through the SCA page, so that should not be a problem. My actual
question is, am I going to find myself accidentally impersonating someone
else? Basically, someone well known in the Belly Dance world, either SCA
or the rest of the world. I Googled for the name, and I did find
a Zafira dance troupe out of PA, who have danced at least once at Pennsic,
but that is not a major problem. Can anyone point out any other conflicts
with this name. Any comments/suggestions greatfully accepted.
