Hopefully there will not be any conflicts.
Last year the Archers Only War Point and the Armored Bridge Battle War
Point were at the same time.
The schedule has hopefully been adjusted this year to correct that. The
last plan that I knew of was for the Archers Only War Point to be
Thursday 1:00 p.m. Here is what I think is planned for the two archers
only battles.
_Archers Only War Point Battle:_ Thursday 1:00 p.m., "Kill-'em All"
battles. Two limited ammo battles with the armies switching ends
between battles. That will reduce terrain advantages and encourage
better targeting and fire control. Numbers still need to be agreed on.
Each battle one point.
One Res. Battle, probably 20 min. For this, there could be a specific
number of "Commanders" with identifying bands or something. They could
be limited res. while the rest are unlimited res. Each time one of them
is killed, they loose a band. This gives a point to the side that kills
the commander.
Put a flag in the ravine as a control point. At the end of time, a 10
ft radius around the flag would be checked. Everyone with half or more
of their body inside the radius would then fight to the last man, no
res. The winning army would get one point.
While a draw is still possible, the likelihood should be reduced. It
would also give a smaller army a "fighting" chance to win.
_The Archery Only Friendship Battle_ will be Wednesday at 3PM, the same
time as last year. People are still playing with various scenarios to
try out things that we might use in the War Point Battles in coming years.
As the full Gulf Wars Schedule becomes available I'll post something
more complete for the archers here.
Regards,
