Arrows/bolts can be no longer than 28 inches from the base of the blunt
to where the ammo sits on the string.<br>

Most arrows are made full length. Bolts are typically made to about
14" or to fit your crossbow whichever works better for you.<br>
<br>
Arrow shafts cost about $1 and bolt shafts about 50 cents. Blunts and
APD cost depend on what variety you opt for and how much of the work
you do yourself. The most costly blunt/apd combination would be a
Baldar Blunt with an Asgard APD. Baldar Blunts cost ya about $2.25
each and Asgard APD's cost ya about 55 cents each.<br>

So an Arrow shaft $1, plus a Baldar Blunt $2.25, plus an Asgard APD
55 cents, plus the tape and glue to put it all together - say another
15 cents a shaft, means that you have about $4 in each arrow plus
any shipping costs for the materials, plus your time involved for
assembly.<br>

Bolts will obviously cost ya about 50 cents less each.<br>
<br>
If ya buy all the raw materials and mill UHMW cores and cut foam
yourself then you can save yourself another $1.50 to $1.75 per unit.<br>
<br>
To be as effective an archer as you possibly can be in the Ravine
Battle at Gulf War plan on taking 150 pieces of ammo with ya.<br>
