For those who are interested in the Musketeers:

"French prints from the age of the Musketeers"
by Sue Welsh Reed
Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 1998
ISBN: 0878464603

It covers the years approx. 1610-1660. The prints have been chosen "to
illustrate the scope of life in seventeenth-century France." Not all of
the prints concern the Musketeers, but there are some, and there are a
number of prints concerning everyday life. There is one from 1640 that's
rather amusing; it shows a battle between French rats and Spanish cats
(literally, they're drawn as rats and cats!).

I have no idea how much the book costs, but it should be available through
Interlibrary Loan (although the one here at UH has to go out for rebinding
so it won't be available for a couple of months).

Enjoy,
~Adela
