Greetings to the fencers of the Known World!

Drachenwald will be holding it's 4th annual "Collegium of Defence"
Event this September 28th to 30th close to Frankfurt Germany. If you
would like to attend (excellent opportunity to combine a vacation in
Europe with an SCA Event) then please let the Reservationist know. We
can also assist with travel arrangements such as hotel reservations and
nearby sight-seeing locations.

Drachenwald Collegium of Defence IV
September 28-30 - Meadowmarsh, Germany

The Shire of Meadowmarsh would like to invite you all to the 4th annual
Drachenwald Collegium of Defence. As usual for this Event, there will
be
various fencing classes all day long, with the annual meeting for the
Drachenwald Rapier Academy in the evening after feast.

This is a camping event on the Marktplatz and in the Turnverein Halle
(Sports Hall) in Duedelsheim, Germany. There is limited crash space in
the
Sports Hall (accommodations can be made for everyone in extreme weather
conditions), and there is plenty of camping area available on the
Marktplatz. The Site is handicapped accessible.

The Site is directly in Duedelsheim, so we have a few restrictions: 1)
no
open fires outside or open flames inside; 2) the site is "discreetly
wet",
so alcohol is allowed but must be hidden when outside the Sports Hall;
3) we
will have neighbours, so all loud partying will have to be in the
Sports
Hall; 4) pets aren't allowed.

Site opens at 6PM on Friday and closes at 12PM on Sunday. Please make
your
reservations before September 14th. There will be a soup served Friday
night; breakfast, lunch and feast on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday
morning.

Cost: Site fee is 25DM for adults and 15DM for children 8-15. Day-trip
fee
is 20DM for adults and 10DM for children 8-15.

	DIRECTIONS
Site Address: Turnverein Duedelsheim, Schulstr. 12, 63654 Duedelsheim,
Germany.

Make your best way to A45 between Hanau and Giessen. Take exit
Altenstadt/Buedingen and turn direction Buedingen (turn right when
coming
from the south, left when coming from the north). Follow this road for
about
3 km straight until you come to Duedelsheim. Take the first right (at a
gas
station) onto Schulstrasse. Stay on this street (400 meters) until you
see
the Sports Hall (Turnverein) on your right. There is a fire department
building directly across the street. To park, turn right directly after
the
Sports Hall.
