Greetings Good Gentles,

Did you come home from Gulf Wars without satisfying your appetite for concerted violence of action as only occurs within the midst of a rapier melee?  Are you looking to catch a bit of the flavor of war because you were unable to attend this year?  Are you convinced that team Shadowlands has become rusty and complacent during their year long tenure as holders of the Iron Star of Ansteorra?  

Your chance to do something about it is coming up the weekend of April 8-10 at the combined baronial championships of Stargate and Loch Sollier.  Team Shadowlands will defend its right to maintain possession of the coveted Iron Star of Ansteorra against the challenges of all rapier melee teams who present themselves.  If you are extremely fortunate, you may even demonstrate that you and your four best buddies have something resembling unit cohesion and some small capacity for coordinated action before you die.
