With all of this talk of banning this or disallowing that, I think we have forgotten about one thing.....this is about someones dream. There are those who for some reason or other either prefer foil/epee, want to use the rigs they have or have a physical issue that makes it only possible for them to fight with the lighter weapons. <BR> <BR>Why not let them continue to play? If there are foil/epee fighters in a group, make it their responsibility that they have a marshal in their group that is familiar with foil/epee and call it good. When they have their own event, let them have a separate foil/epee tourney if they want one. If they go to an event for a different group, then they are expected to play with the other kids games.<BR> <BR>The SCA has always been about following your dream and trying to include as many as possible to enjoy what they do.
