How wonderful! Glad the sheep made it and the photos are great!

So let me ask, currently what is everyone working on?

I'm spinning some lilac Jacob yearling right now. Lilac is what pale
blight brown and white is called on Jacob fleeces. What I like about
Jacob's (actually American Jacob) is that they are a very old breed and are
thought to be the spotted sheep mentioned in the Bible. They were raised in
England quite a bit. The Modern British Jacob is not as period as American
Jacob. The Jacob Society here is trying to breed backwards to achieve a
closer match to the true Breed. I also got in some truly beautiful Romney
fleece which is a silver grey color. The woman I bought it from has some
others. She sent me samples. Her prices are actually quite good for
fleece which is almost vegetable matter free. Romney has long locks...
these are easily about 6 inches long and very wavy or crimpy. It broke
down to about 64 cents an ounce. I have 4 and 1/2 pounds which was the
entire fleece. If anyone wants more info on her stuff let me know. I have
samples and descriptions, price and such. She's extremely nice.

I also have started knitting since I have so much fiber. I know how but
now I'm going to try to knit what I spin. I also have some fiber that is
not spinnable but is feltable and may be trying that soon.

What's everyone else doing? Let us know?

Regards,

Clare
