Clare,

I have the materials from a class that I took at GW a couple of years
ago that had lots of pictures of period spindles.  If you like I can
have the CD that they are on copied and send it to you or just send you
the copies that I have.

I would also be interested in copies of the period embroidery patterns
when you find them.
