[Ansteorra-textiles] shameless self promotion / shearing

I think I'm going to throw my two pence in about here.......

People, finding bits of your friends scattered around their paddock is no
way to come in, in the morning. Yes, the park is fenced. *HOWEVER* there are
several low spots where dogs can get in. Fresh lamb to a hungry dog is just
fair game. Sheep have absolutely no natural defenses, at *all*! (thanks to
several thousands of years of selective breeding by humans)

I've seen the carriage house stable, and it is comfortably large for two
Mammoth Jacks to live in it. But, its not designed or laid out for sheep.
They really do need their own barn.

I agree with Garita.......if anyone can think of a way to get the barn
built....please, speak up! If we can raise money for fireworks, however
beautiful they will be, we should be able to raise cash for this and perhaps
a kind word about the Society's donation.

(my thanks to Kestral, the spindle and wool are by my
finally-sit-down-at-night, chair and I'm still working on it.)

anyone have any thoughts or ideas? I'm perfectly willing to bring hammer
and saw(s) to pitch in. If Habitat for Humanity can build a house with
volunteers....perhaps we can build a barn?

Galen
