Greetings, Radegund,

Here is confirmation for my class: Beginning Inkle Loom Weaving

I like to have an hour lunch break worked into a class schedule. When I use to autocrat Middleford's Newcomer Collegium I always put one in and my lord scheduled one when he autocrated several Academies of the Bow.

  Greetings textile workers,

It's early yet, but I'm working on getting information to the web site. I plan on updating soon and sending out the URL.

But in the meantime, I thought I'd touch base. I'm gathering classes and teachers. Once I get confirmations, I'll post the classes and schedule.

Right now, I've got a spinning track, a weaving track, a track for other (lucet, nalbinding, etc) and a track that will consist of an all-day carpentry class, making an upright card weaving loom or embroidery loom (I'm not completely clear on it).

One question I have for you guys is, should I try to include an embroidery track? My fear is that it will end up packing the schedule without necessarily drawing additional students. But it is an important part of the medieval fiber arts that we practice.

Also, should I build in an hour for lunch? The temptation is to pack as many classes in as possible, and let people get lunch when they can, but some students don't like having to pick between lunch and a class. Right now in the scheduling process, there is a built-in hour for lunch.

This college is for you, so let me know what you think.

  Radegund
