[Ansteorra-Textiles] hello!

As way of my introduction to the list, my society name is Lady Agnes "Nan" Turnbull. I am with the Shire of Gate's Edge, in the Barony of Stargate (Houston, Tx), and a novice inkle weaver. 
I primarily work a small handloom (from Psaltery Dreams, based on a 14th century design), which i find to be very portable to events-however, it can only weave a maximum 2" band, so i use it to make trims/favors. I recently was given a full sized Beka inkle loom as a gift, but haven't yet used it for any projects. I'm planning them though!
My favorite yarn is called Sinfonia, sometimes available at my local Hobby Lobby, or ordered over the internet. It keeps a wonderful tension, makes up very easily & quickly: perfect for a novice like me!
Looking forward to finding out what other textile folks are doing!
