[Ansteorra-Textiles] Fiber arts event

Greetings,

This list is so inactive, I'd forgotten I was on it and was planning on
trying to find some Ansteorran weavers to learn from.  :)

I need to learn weaving.  I have a loom ( 46" Newcomb floor loom), and I'd
like to weave tartans - simple weave, at least at first, probably not the
twill.

I've read about weaving, but I should get a good book (recommendations?) and
some hands-on instruction, especially for setting up the loom.  It'd be best
if it were from someone in the Bryn Gwlad/Ffynnon Gath area, as that's where
I am.

But, yes, I'd probably go to a Fiber Arts College to learn, assuming my
schedule allowed it.

PS:  I also have a large bag of loose, sheared, unwashed wool, maybe 75
pounds of it (fairly long fiber, as they only shear once a year), that I
need to do something with before the moths find it, if they haven't already.
