  This list is so inactive, I'd forgotten I was on it and was planning on
trying to find some Ansteorran weavers to learn from.  :)

  I need to learn weaving.  I have a loom ( 46" Newcomb floor loom), and I'd
like to weave tartans - simple weave, at least at first, probably not the
twill.

  I've read about weaving, but I should get a good book (recommendations?)
and some hands-on instruction, especially for setting up the loom.  It'd be
best if it were from someone in the Bryn Gwlad/Ffynnon Gath area, as that's
where I am.

  But, yes, I'd probably go to a Fiber Arts College to learn, assuming my
schedule allowed it.

  PS:  I also have a large bag of loose, sheared, unwashed wool, maybe 75
pounds of it (fairly long fiber, as they only shear once a year), that I
need to do something with before the moths find it, if they haven't already.

        It's been a couple of years since the last Fiber Arts College.  A
couple of people have expressed interested in seeing another one put on.
I'll start checking around for sites here in Bjornsborg and see if the group
is interested in putting it on, but I wanted to gauge interest first.

        So, if this email list is still live, sing out if you'd like to
teach or take classes at another Fiber Arts College.
