As way of my introduction to the list, my society name is Lady Agnes "Nan" Turnbull. I am with the Shire of Gate's Edge, in the Barony of Stargate (Houston, Tx), and a novice inkle weaver. <BR>
I primarily work a small handloom (from Psaltery Dreams, based on a 14th century design), which i find to be very portable to events-however, it can only weave a maximum 2" band, so i use it to make trims/favors. I recently was given a full sized Beka inkle loom as a gift, but haven't yet used it for any projects. I'm planning them though!<BR>
My favorite yarn is called Sinfonia, sometimes available at my local Hobby Lobby, or ordered over the internet. It keeps a wonderful tension, makes up very easily & quickly: perfect for a novice like me!<BR>
