I don't know if this true in all areas but the DFW sari shops are having
big sales. The Asian Boutique in Irving has beautiful velvet for 3.99 a
yard and is selling their "china silk" for 89 cents. The Indian Palace at
75 and beltline has some beautiful sari lengths for 10.50. A sari length
is five and a fourth yards. These sales come before some big festival so
they may be happening in your area.
