        Yes, that's true.

        The only "rules" I try to apply are to make it a *good* filk.
Basically the same rules that apply to writing lyrics in the first place.
Make the rhyming clean, the flow consistent, the story well told.
        That and try to make the general theme of the lyrics fit the
emotional "feel" of the music you are filking.
