As a "returnee" with a nine-year gap in my SCA experience, I find that my repetoire dates me to the time when ballads and folk songs were popular in the SCA but documentation was unheard of. In a way, it's a time capsule of what was popular in the 1970's-80's. I've written a few songs and performed a very small set of original works of other SCA bards (Karelia's Song, Burden of the Crown, etc.). The thing I'm looking forward to is doing research and learning documentable period pieces. I'd like to work, also, on seeing what songs in my current collection can be documented. My songbook is on-line at http://www.geocities.com/mot@swbell.net

Besides singing I love to do instrumental music and always bring my harp, recorders and guitar to events. "Jamming" with other musicians is my favorite way to spend time in the SCA.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at Pendaran's reception at Coronation.
