Since Ulf brought up a fox hunt I thought I would run with it... although
not quite the way he mentioned...
The mist of sunset comes to close the day
Yet in this hour my hunt is but new struck
The fox may think itself now locked away
but the vixens pelt I'll have with any luck
My quarry shall, in time, embrace her fate
Unto my eye she will reveal herself
in moonlit woods she'll show her true estate
her sparkling eyes, the magic of an elf
The chase begins all lit by silver moon
A merry hunt through folds of velvet night
All at once I grasp, she seems to swoon
It seems pursuit has been to her delight
In hunting the hunter she did not fail
Her weapons are wit, and a gracefull tail
Darius
