I want to say a sad and special, "Fare thee well", to a dear friend and incredible bard, Eleanor Fairchild, mka Truly Carmichael.
This lovely and very gifted lady is not only an accomplished harpist, she also has the voice of an angel. She has graced our Kingdom for many years, but now she is making her way to Canada, to share her beauty, wit, grace, and talents with others as she has shared them with us.
Last night, August 28, 2004, she held a farewell concert for her friends and fellow bards. She performed many favorite songs and poems, and also invited several guest bards to perform as well. Through the shared gifts of harping, song, and poem, we reaffirmed our deep and abiding love for this beautiful lady and our gentle sorrow that she is leaving us.

So, Fare thee well, Eleanor Fairchild. Wherever the wind may take you, it will blow the sound of your voice back to the land of the Star. Your friends will be listening, and sending you their love, wherever you may be.
Sad, but sending my love,
Elanor O'Ruark

Make a joyful noise unto your Kingdom!
