[Bards] Voices of the Star II

As our Kingdom Bard (HL Kat) posted earlier, I am indeed putting myself to the task of publishing
Voices of the Star, Vol. II.  The first issue was well received and contained a huge amount of
original material.  Some time ago, I put out a call for submissions for Volume II, but I have not
yet received enough to publish another book.  Perhaps setting a deadline will encourage more
people to submit and fill up this volume.

The DEADLINE for bardic submissions is OCTOBER 15!

Here's the guideline for submissions:

1. Up to three pieces may be submitted per author.
2. Pieces must be written by current/past residents of Ansteorra, *or* about/for
Ansteorra/Ansteorrans.
3. Pieces may be any style - song, poem, story...etc.
4. Songs are encouraged to have musical notation, but not required.
5. Filks are welcome, with reference to the original music piece (including author)
6. A Letter of Permission to Publish for each piece submitted.  Please allow Paul Haines (known as
Alden Drake) permission to publish <Piece X> in Voices of the Star.  

As the Editor, I will only edit for layout and spelling.  If I (or my proofing staff) thinks any
other changes should be made to a piece, I will contact the author before making changes.

Bardic themed artwork is also welcomed (with a permission to publish letter).

I will attempt to include all the pieces I receive in this Volume, but if I get an exceptional
number of submissions, I may hold some pieces for future publication to allow more people
exposure.

The success of Voices of the Star is dependant on your submissions!  Don't delay, submit today!
