The art of performance has always been honored in Bryn Gwlad. The Bards of
Bryn Gwlad represent a long line of performers, some of whom have included
Branwyn Scholastica, Brendan O Corraidhe, Thomas of Tenby, Edwin FitzLloyd,
Robin of Gilwell, Zara Zina Theanos, Deirdre O'Bardon, James ap Benyl,
Antonia Bianca Santiago da Lagos, Pendaran Glamorgan, and Amata Amati
d’Arezzo.

The next Bryn Gwlad Baronial Championship competition will be held at the
upcoming Kingdom Dance & Music Symposium, on Saturday, June 3rd, starting
at 10 am: http://www.geocities.com/bg_events/index.html

All performers are invited to enter this competition, and are asked to
present at least two performances, in differing styles (or a combination of
styles): poetry, story-telling, and music (singing &/or playing an
instrument). Dancing, juggling, and any other period form of entertainment
is also welcome.

Newcomers and younger members are encouraged to perform at least once!
Special prizes will be offered for the best "first-competition"
performance, best historical performance, and the most amusing performance.
Documentation is appreciated, but is not required.

Please contact me if you have any questions about this competition.

I hope to see you there!

     Baron Thomas
