My feeling is that a facilitator could be helpful.
A potential forum for a bardic-themed event takes place at each
collegium-type event that is held. I know each year as Westgate plans its
annual collegium that the early planning always involves a discussion of
theme and, having held a very successful bardic themed collegium in the
past, bardic is nearly always discussed as a possible theme. I suspect many
groups go through the same discussion as part of their event-planning
process.
Perhaps what is needed is a bit of encouragement and proferred support for
groups willing to select a bardic theme at the events they are already
planning.
