*glee!*  I love these kinds of stories!

I think I should try to document the history of "Groupies" back to the
middle ages.  Afterall, that's my main reason to subscribe to this list.  :)

Actually, as I remember it, there were several stages.

I started off occasionally singing dirty songs and writing (very poor)
poetry.  Nobody (including me) thought of me as a bard.
