[Bards] Results of Vocal Exercises

I have, over the past few days, actually been doing some drills and
breathing exercises in mornings and before bed - partly because of reading
the postings here, and partly because I'm trying to recover from a very
nasty chest cold - and I just wanted to say: Wow.

Even with a nose that alternates between a mini-Niagra Falls and an
imitation of Lincoln's nose at Mount Rushmore (ie. solid), and a throat
ravaged by coughing fits that could crack a rib, I can actually breathe more
or less comfortably for most of the day, and I'm told my voice still sounds
good, if different. I can sing a song and deliver a three minute monologue
the whole way through without getting winded. Less than a week ago this was
not even remotely possible.

Not that there was ever an argument but: It really works! So a big thank you
to those who brought the subject up. I intend to keep on with this, perhaps
develop a regime (especially if the weather continues to act like this).

Namaste,
-Quill

Also, I'm told I've stopped snoring - don't know if that has anything to do
with the exercises, or if I'm just getting cleared up finally, but it's a
good sign either way.
