Um, it was a joke. I don't sing, I don't filk. I've only ever tried it once, in a non SCA context, the SF type filking, which I love, and which has strong roots in the SCA bardic community -- different but kindred trees.

It was to the tune of Jingle Bells, and it went something like this:

Dasthing over the dunes
In a one horse open thopter
Over the sands we go
Throttling our foes laughter!
Knives of Freman ring!
Making spirits high!
Oh what it is to see Harkonans run and diiiiieee!

So, this is why I don't filk. Ever. To anything.
