[Bards] Fool

I would like to announce that the Fool, Yu Xue XianXian has done me the favor of being my Fool for the next year. 

For those who do not know me I have been accused of "acting like a Queen" and it has been suggested that I become more "humble". I have engaged a Fool to help me in my Quest. All nobles need to face reality and see ourselves as we are  not what we "think" we are. It is Lsdy Xain job to put a mirror to my faults 

She started this by having a "Willow" puppet that talks to long. As many of you know this is one of my many faults. The only "political" purpose the "Willow" Puppet has is to be funny and kept me real. 

As my Fool Lady Xain has special permission to make fun of me, Just like Master Pepin did when he was Duke Jonathan's Fool when he was King. A King's Fool can make fun of the Court and A Baron's Fool could make fun of the Barony. My Fool can make fun of the people in my Court maybe but since my "Court" is very small that would not be a great number of people. If my Fool makes fun of someone and gets into trouble then I get into trouble. As the Herald is the Nobles voice and therefore protected the Fool is somewhat protected. ". 

The Fool that is not a "Noble's" Fool doesn't have the same protection and needs to be careful. It is very easy to over step and get into trouble. 

I will sponsoring some discussions on what a Fool can get away with and what is too much. Lady Xain and I will be having one of these discussions at Artisan of the Steppes. If you have feedback on Lady Xain performance or the whole idea or impute on Fools or just question get together with us at the event. 

Foolery is an "on the job"  learning experience. The best Fools are ones that have someone who gives them feedback. I have never met a good Fool that didn't really mess up early in their careers.
