"Little girls, this seems to say, Never stop upon your way.
Never trust a stranger-friend; No one knows how it will end.
As you're pretty, so be wise; Wolves may lurk in every guise.
Handsome they may be, and kind, Gay, or charming never mind!
Now, as then, 'tis simple truth...
Sweetest tongue has sharpest tooth!"

It is hard to write, tear-blurred are my eyes with joy.
I am still so stunned that I cannot find the words to tell how much this wordfame means to a mother who has worked so hard to raise her son well. I too, know that the wight of responsibility comes with praise, and yet, i hope that as he grows he will still respect and uphold the ways of duty, honor, honesty, love, and chivalry that we all hold so dear, and I personally have believed in all my life.

Catrin, what can we say but, grateful thanks for your words. You know he is our bright angel, and our joy.
Master Cadfan, how much it means to a mother to hear words of cautious caring from someone who knows.

I plege to continue to do my duty as a mother, and a believer in the ways old, to keep this sunny little cub on the right path.

Ever so humble,
Elanor

Good gentles all,

It is one of the foremost pleasures of a bard to sing the praises of the
worthy. Much has been said lately of our duty to point out what is wrong
with the world around us, as well as to remember and celebrate what is
right. Having witnessed much of the latter this weekend past at Steppes
Warlord, I feel I am honor-bound to make it known across the land.

Here then do I share word-fame of Morgan, son of Elanor and Matthias, a
brave young Ansteorran lord if ever I have seen one. I have heard many
tales of this young man's chivalry, and now I have borne witness to it
myself. Below are the humble verses I have penned in his honor.

It is my hope that, the more such deeds are praised, the more they will be
aspired to and emulated throughout our fair Kingdom. Here's to the best in
all of us.

In service,
Catrin ferch Maelgwn

Whelp of the wolf-clan, word-fame I give him.
Son of the Star, though his summers are few
And slight now his stature, but soon all will know him:
Man will they mark him, young Morgan the brave.

Morgan the mild, whose manner is gentle
Helpful at home, and in halls otherwise
Morgan the merry, whose mirth is a bell
In the chorus that calls from the kingdom's most dear.

Courage and courtesy, close does he keep them
Held to his heart, as good heroes all do.
Fearless when family or friend is in danger,
Morgan the mighty would meet any foe.

Swift to the side of the she-wolf, his mother,
Fallen in fields that grew far from their door,
Morgan did move when the moment was dire
Gravely he guarded and guided her home.

Wounds he had willingly, Warlord at heart,
Morgan whose mettle is made of pure steel.
Staying a sting that was seeking another
Bravely this blow did he bear for his friend.

Hearken, o heroes, and hope for the wisdom
This child has championed; challenge I raise
To live by his lessons, to learn and teach others
That valor and virtue will venom outdo.

Whelp of the wolf-clan, word-fame I give him.
Son of the Star, though his summers are few
And slight now his stature, but soon all will know him:
Man will they mark him, young Morgan the brave.
