specific example, let's look at sonnets. I started by reading and
learning about period sonnets, and talking to others about them.
Then I took what I learned and applied it to my own original
sonnets. Then I've had my sonnets published in newsletters and I
perform them quite often. Soon, I'll be teaching a class on sonnet
writing. I'm far from an expert, but the process of applying them
to my 'three aspects of bardic' has given me a good appreciation,
understanding, and utilization of the form.<br>

How I improve each of the three elements varies and could be addressed
separately (and probably at some length), but these are the three
"broad elements" that I look at. I'm still a fledgling
bard though, so my opinion is subject to change over time. ;)<br>
