When the concept of the Eisteddfod got started it was to be a bard 
centered event. The first ones had other things then the Kingdom 
competitions. Then the Kingdom Competition started getting so big it 
took up all day. The Year that Mistress Rosalind won we have over 200 
people there and we performed from 10:00 to late at night to get all 
the competitors in. His Majesty Inman had called  the nobles to come 
and patron performers so people were also trying out to be peoples 
Bards or performing groups. The evening activities were set up up to 
get the bards/performer to talking and sharing.. I am not sure when 
the interest died down because I was burned out.
