<P>As I have said in earlier posts, I am a rapier marshal and fighter, but at any gathering, one would be hard pressed to not gather that I am also proud to be a bard. I walk into any site with my fighting gear and a lute slung from my shoulder and a fife in my belt. I think a college would be a great idea if it does not become as cumbersom as the rules for fighting are. I am proud to wear the green on my belt, but I have found that at some gatherings it is difficult to even find a place to perform as all the interest seems to be concentrated on the fighters. I had written a special song for our new baron and never got to perform it because he was too busy congratulating the fighters. If we had a formal college, perhaps we might command a bit more respect.</P>
