Honorable lord,<br>you'll have to talk to the ladies illuminating for me. Neither are doing cover art at the moment - and I'm sure that they would be pleased to work on Voices of the Star 2 as well. I'll forward your email on to them. On collaboration - I'll ask those who send me songs if they would like their songs to be sent on to you as well for Voices of the Star. I do have a bit of a deadline set for us though - I want this book together by august so I can get it out to the troops and populace in time for eveyone to have at least seen it before next years gulf war.
<br>I would love to collaborate with you - I had no idea another voices of the Star was in progress. Do you have any songs that would apply towards the War book that the writers wouldn't mind being in both? We could get those illuminated with the rest - and then the illumination can ride over into the Voice of the Star.

I've been collecting submissions for Voices of the Star, Volume 2 for some time now, and while not necessarily a War Song Book, it is a collection of works by, for, or about Ansteorra(ns). Volume 1 can be downloaded in PDF format at

<br><br>well... I hadn't thought so far ahead as to putting it online and so forth. That opens a whole new scope for getting it out there and I'm sure that I will probably end up putting it online so that it can be viewed and printed and learned from.

<br>As far as bringing in other pieces not written by you. I don't want to put anything in this that the original writer doesn't want
there. I also want these things to be either by an Ansteorrian or about Ansteorra. If you find a song that you think would really inspire an Ansteorrian that works too. That being said - recruit. If you can somehow trace the song back to its writer or writers and can find me a way to contact them or help me find a way to contact them - I would be more then happy to beg for the privilege of being able to print the songs.

I see that you are planning a nice illuminated edition, but have you thought about producing something that might be more useful to musicians, perhaps something with chords and/or tablature? That may be far beyond the scope of your vision but speaking as a guitarist who has yet to train himself to read music, that may prove useful to some. Just a thought. :^)
