My friends,<br>
&nbsp; We have seen a lot about Gothic Wars lately.&nbsp; Baron Armand
Dragonetti seems to wish to challenge Baron Kainin&#39;s authority over the
lands granted to him by the Crown of Ansteorra.&nbsp; Lord Elfsea
claims neglect on the part of Lord Bonwicke.&nbsp; I tell you all, I
care not for these rants thrown the distance of the Kingdom.&nbsp; This
&quot;war&quot; shall be decided by the swift and just hands of Their Royal
Majesties, Ulsted and Ebergardis.<br>
&nbsp; I write this not to discourage those attending Gothic Wars, but
to inform you all of a day a peace, a day of friendship.&nbsp; This
weekend, the Shire of Graywood will host Battle of the Pines.&nbsp; On
Sunday morning, the Shire will choose it&#39;s new bard.&nbsp; Contessa
Tessa will be running the competition for me as family obligations take
me to the Kingdom of Gleann Abhann.&nbsp; Bring two pieces of differing
genres (ie song &amp; story, story &amp; poem, song &amp; poem).&nbsp;
Special consideration will be given to documentation, but it is not
required and oral documentation is acceptable.&nbsp; Please have a
third piece ready in case there is need of a final round.&nbsp;
Graywood is a grand shire, filled with wonderful people who know how to
put on a fun event.&nbsp; Please show your support for this grand
group, attend Battle of the Pines this weekend, and compete to become
the Titles Bard of Graywood!<br>
