I have officially started a dozen drafts today in response to the multitudinous subjects that have been brought up and turned over and over in the discussion of this weekend past. So much I wanted to throw in, yet it seems like I can't compose my thoughts, the matter gets obsoleted, or I start to say something and Master Robin goes and says it ten times clearer and a million time better, and then we divert onto subjects I can't even add to.
<br><br>The main point I wanted to put forward was we've got models aplenty to build a "stand alone event" on. I mean, the name "Eisteddfod" didn't get made up out of thin air! I once was at an Eisteddfod in Bath for their Bardic Chair, and to be honest I was sort of expecting something like that this weekend, only on a smaller scale! (Whoever made the comparison to a Pernese Gather? Major kudos.)
<br><br>I have to admit, I'm all in an ardent fervor now; something is happening, and I want in on it. The matter is very close to my heart, and I want to help, however I possibly can, in building up our Eisteddfod to more than a "peripheral" thing. Come on! Let's build ourselves a Gorseth of Ansteorra then, and let the awen flow!!
