This would be a good place to demo renaissance
dance. They seem to be willing to let people see
if it's a good place to hold dances.. but between
Cedar Park and Round Rock.. not sure if one is better then the other.

Anyone want to teach?

Lowrie.

>· Live Oak Dance Party Saturday, August
>27, from 7:30 11 at Live Oak Unitarian Church,
>3315 El Salido Parkway, Cedar Park, Texas. Come
>try out Live Oak’s new dance floor at a “Sampler
>Dance”. Bring your favorite dance CDs and do a
>variety of dancing, watch the Clickety Cloggers
>perform and learn some new dances. Contact Ann

>at this event, please contact Ann.

>Those of you who get my English Dancing
>newsletter probably saw this announcement, but I
>wanted to send it specifically to those of you
>who might be interested in teaching a dance or
>two at our "Sampler Dance." This is our dance
>floor's maiden voyage, so my purpose is
>two-fold. I want dance instructors to see if
>Live Oak would be a good place to hold dances
>and I'd like the Live Oak folks to get a taste
>of different kinds of dancing in case they want
>to attend dances or have dances at our church.
>
>We plan to use CDs rather than live musicians,
>so just bring the CDs you need. We have a sound
>system. If you play music and would like to
>team up with a dance instructor, that would be fine too.
>
>Our plan at this point is to have short teaching
>segments interspersed between general dancing to
>CDs. The clogging group who donated the floor
>to us will be performing a couple of dances 2-3 times during the dance.
>
>For those of you who don't know what we ended up
>with, it's a portable dance floor that we
>installed over carpet and plan to leave in
>place. It's a great dance surface and has some give because it's on carpet.
>
>Please Email me here or call me at home at
>266-9949 or at work at 974-3352 if you are
>interested in helping us. Also, feel free to
>attend the dance. I expect I'll put some flyers
>out once I get the dance instruction lined up.
