Their web site led me to believe they've taken a shot at choreography for a salterello, which is bolder than I've seen. There might be a bit more fantasy involved in the recreation than we'd like, but as Will pointed out their musical transcriptions have a rigor I haven't seen outside of accademic texts. I love the songs enough to be very interested in what they've pieced together.

The core of Gaita is Master Otto and Mistress Caitlin who live in Edinburgh -- really nice folks. Isabeau and I attended a dance practice at their loft and met them again at a Drachenwald coronation. They are 'Avatarian' in their instrumental versatility but some of their dance reconstructions are questionable IMO. One of their CDs is chock full of Gresleys.

The have a set of a CD, dance steps and sheet music which looks really neat. The sound clips they have on their site are great. I'm interested in picking up one of their CDs and some sheet music. The shipping from Scotland's kind of a pain, and my own Scottish blood is cripplingly frugal so I'm wondering if anyone would like to split it with me.
